Here’s your opportunity to enjoy a wonderful show with an amazing troupe of performers, including guitarists, a flautist and percussionists, four singers and four outstanding dancers… This is a flamenco show alternating between the most profound and intimate compositions, like the tango, and the more sombre soleá, por bulerías and seguiriyas, in which the performers express their pain, and the more joyful flamenco forms such as the alegrías, bulerías and tanguillos, which will get you in a party mood. Directed by the choreographer Susana Escoda, and the artistic director and singer, Sara Flores.

This is the most seen flamenco show in Barcelona. More than 2 million spectators! A full cast of performers inspired by de masterpiece Blood Wedding by Federico García Lorca, tells the tormented story of love between the dancers, two “bailadores” interpretated by their own souls, the sorprano and the tenor. Choreographed by the award winning Rafael Amargo, the most important flamenco artist working today. The sensual choreographies shows the traditions of opera, zarzuela and flamenco.

Tablao de Carmen, the flamenco club that pays tribute to Carmen Amaya, the great Barcelona-borndancer.

The spell of flamenco and the magic of the baroque live and in the flesh. You’ll find this and much more at the Palau Dalmases a baroque space suited for this live flamenco show. Have a drink and enjoy a unique artistic experience.

The Palau Dalmases stands on Carrer Montcada, in the Ribera district, and is a work of art in its own right. Its baroque influences bear witness to the artistic, political and cultural life of Barcelona and Catalonia. In 1700, the Academy of the Sceptics had its headquarters here, and later the Academy of the Arts. Notable men, scholars and music lovers held gatherings here devoted to art, language and thinking.

The building alone is well worth the visit, bearing witness, as it did, to the growth of the city. In the 16th century, Carrer Montcada was home to the palaces and residences of the city’s most notable and influential families. If you come along to see a flamenco concert, the experience will be even more original and unforgettable!
